Restaurant Listing Agreement
This Restaurant Listing Agreement explains the terms under which restaurants may list on Leisure Dock. It is designed to be clear, fair, and respectful of the work that goes into running a restaurant.
By creating or maintaining a restaurant listing on Leisure Dock, you (“the Restaurant” or “you”) agree to this agreement.
1. Purpose of This Agreement
Leisure Dock provides a platform that helps diners discover restaurants and helps restaurants present themselves confidently to the public.
This agreement defines:
- How restaurant listings are created and displayed
- What responsibilities restaurants have when listing
- What Leisure Dock does, and does not, provide.
2. Eligibility to List
By listing a restaurant, you confirm that:
- You are the owner, operator, or an authorised representative of the restaurant
- You have the legal right to represent the business
- The restaurant operates in compliance with applicable laws and regulations
- Leisure Dock reserves the right to request verification where appropriate.
3. Restaurant Information & Accuracy
You are responsible for ensuring that all information in your listing is:
- Accurate and up to date
- Not misleading or deceptive
- Lawful and compliant with advertising standards
This includes (but is not limited to):
- Restaurant name and location
- Opening hours
- Menus and pricing
- Images and branding
- Contact details
Outdated or inaccurate information undermines diner trust, and we may request corrections or take action if issues persist.
4. Content Ownership & Permissions
You retain ownership of all content you upload to your listing.
By submitting content to Leisure Dock, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display, reproduce, and promote that content solely for the purpose of operating and marketing the platform.
You confirm that:
- You own or have permission to use all uploaded content
- Content does not infringe third-party rights
- Images and text accurately represent your restaurant
5. Public Visibility & Discovery
Restaurant listings are public and intended for discovery by diners.
Leisure Dock:
- Does not guarantee bookings, foot traffic, or revenue
- Does not manage tables, payments, or reservations unless explicitly stated
- Provides visibility, not commercial guarantees
Discovery depends on factors such as diner interest, location, and competition.
6. Reviews & User Interaction (If Applicable)
If reviews or user interactions are enabled:
- Leisure Dock does not edit genuine user reviews for sentiment
- Restaurants may be given tools to respond professionally
- Abuse, spam, or defamatory content may be removed
We encourage constructive dialogue and respectful engagement.
7. Acceptable Use by Restaurants
Restaurants agree not to:
- Post false or misleading information
- Misrepresent another business
- Upload offensive, discriminatory, or unlawful content
- Attempt to manipulate platform visibility unfairly
Violations may result in listing removal or suspension.
8. Suspension or Removal of Listings
Leisure Dock reserves the right to suspend or remove listings that:
- Violate this agreement or applicable laws
- Harm diner trust or platform integrity
- Remain inaccurate after reasonable notice
Where possible, we aim to communicate and resolve issues before removal.
9. Termination
You may request removal of your restaurant listing at any time.
Leisure Dock may terminate a listing if continued inclusion would undermine trust, legality, or platform quality.
10. Limitation of Liability
Leisure Dock is a discovery platform only.
We are not responsible for:
- Diner behaviour or expectations
- Business outcomes or losses
- Customer disputes, refunds, or service experiences
Restaurants remain fully responsible for their operations.
11. Relationship
Nothing in this agreement creates a partnership, agency, or employment relationship between Leisure Dock and the restaurant.
