Walker's

Walkers has been located in historic Tribeca since the 1880s. Walkers was opened in 1987 by three partners: Scott Perez, Martin Sheridan, and Gerard Jerry Walker. We have served the community continuously, through good time and not so good times. At Walkers,we use the highest quality of ingredients. Walkers serves great food at reasonable prices. Everyone is welcome. Our service is responsive and professionally friendly. At this Varick St and N. Moore St location, there has been a bar and restaurant since the building was first occupied in the early 1880s. The neighborhood has seen many changes in history. As the neighborhood evolved, so did the bar and restaurant. One thing has remained – a remarkable eating and drinking establishment. We have a childrens menu and we welcome private parties as our space permits. We also cater on and off premise. The interior of Walkers is very much like what it was when it first opened (with the exception of modern conveniences like electric lighting).. The tin ceilings and walls, old floors even the gas lines there were used to light the barroom are still there. There are many places that looked like Walkers back in the day, not so many more. Walkers evokes the feeling of an old NYC saloon while serving great Guinness Pints (20oz), local brews on tap as well an extensive selection of bottled beer too…
