On August 4, 1995, Valerio and Stella opened Valerios Ristorante at the corner of Mayfield Rd. and E. 120th in Clevelands Little Italy. Thirteen years later, they relocated just up Mayfield hill to 12405 Mayfield Rd., the current location. Twenty years later, Valerios Ristorante reamins one of Clevelands favorite authentic Italian restaurants. Born in the small town of Carbone located in the Southern Italian region of Basilicata, Valerio had a passion for food at a very young age. Trained through a Florentine culinary school, Valerio Iorio learned to master the many flavors and techniques of Italian cuisine. Using simple, yet fresh products, Valerio creates genuine Italian dishes while also including many dishes from the different regions in Italy.
