We do not use any fancy computer software to store bean roasting profiles or to manipulate roast times. We rely on the age old methods of sight, sound and smell. This is how we know your coffee will be at its absolute best and no less. We roast less than 30lbs at atime to assure the best roast. Troubadours were lyric poets of the 12th and 13th century. They often sang for royalty and sang passionately of chivalry and courtly love. A traveling minstrel of sorts. Much like coffeehouses of the 60s & 70s that gave a platform for troubadours of the time, coffee is synonymous with the troubadour. And troubadours have passion. Our passion for excellent coffee is like the passion troubadours had for lyric. Thats the story behind our name; now you know the where for and why! Owner and master roaster Tony DiCorpo has been a coffee shop owner, operator, manager, barista, baker and roaster since 2004. He is an entrepreneur many times over. He is also a coffee shop business consultant with extensive experience in business and more than 20 years experience in sales, customer service and business management with a special focus on start-ups and entrepreneurship, marketing and public relations.
