My all-time favorite restaurant. My family has been coming here for 50+ years and we wont be stopping anytime soon. The environment, portion size, authentic taste and quality… Tonys is hard to beat. PS – I dare you to try their Spicy Margarita! One of the mostauthentically local Mexican restaurants in San Diego. Charming building, friendly service, amazing food, and tasty marguaritas! Large portions, awesome margaritas and a beautiful garden… but really this review is about the salsa. I could subsist on this salsa with a perma smile on my face – its sooooooo delicious!!! Best Mexican food and drink location in all of our San Diego area. My parents started taking me there during the Del Mar Horse show dating back like 1948 or so. I am celebrating another b day tomorrow and hope friends take be there again. THANK YOU TONY JS!!!!! We went there last night after a day at the beach. I love Mexican food and eat it often enough to be picky about it. I was really pleased. The food was really fantastic. Highly recommended!!
