Detailed Information

The Yard started in 2014 when three mortal enemies were in the midst of an all out battle royale. Mike Allen had David Ondik in a chickenwing over-the-shoulder crossface, while Sir Nirav Patel was beating the hell out of some guy dressed up as Green Man. Green Manwas talking mad shit about Pittsburgh Sports. Once David & Mike heard this brave warrior defend Pittsburgh Sports, they quickly went to assist in the full on ass kicking of Green Man. Turns out, Nirav is a Cowboys fan. Anywaysfast forward a few days, the trio was sitting at the finest sports pub in all of Pittsburgh, (Yes, you guessed it) Coachs Bottleshop & Grille! They were discussing starting up a restaurant specializing in grilled cheese sandwiches, but not just any grilled cheese sandwichesgourmet grilled cheese sandwiches (hold for applause). So, they agreed on a truce to end the fighting & put all of their attention into making the finest grilled cheese sandwiches in the world. Now there are 5 Yard locations across the city serving up the coldest & best selection of craft brews, and of course, cooking up some mean gourmet grilled cheese sandwiches. And, to all you naysayers out there who claim you can make a grilled cheese sandwich at home, we say HA! Good luck finding breador cheeseor butter. Then, you have to find something to heat these ingredients up & melt everything to delicious goodness.it just aint gonna happen bro. Leave the grilled cheese sandwiches to us.
