Established in 2003. In a more than century-old railroad station in Fort Valley, GA, youll find a humble cafe serving comfort and gourmet American fare for breakfast and lunch. The Railroad Cafe is a family-owned diner that prides itself on serving delicious, homemade food made with fresh ingredients. From our omelets, pancakes, and biscuits to our gourmet sandwiches and more, folks who are craving a hearty meal will find it here. Join us and dine with family and loved ones surrounded by the country elegance of the early 1900s; to serve you would be a blessing. The owners operated this same cafe here in the same spot years ago. They sold it and moved to Florida in order to allow their visually-impaired daughter the opportunity of gaining a great education at the Florida School for the Deaf and the Blind. Since then, their daughter has graduated Salutatorian from high school, went on to graduate from Daytona State College with Honors, AA in hand, and now transferred to Wesleyan College in Macon, GA. With nothing to keep them in Florida, they are back again in Fort Valley, GA to continue what they started in 2003.
