Detailed Information

Established in 2005. Housed in a beautiful French Chateau, The Library Restaurant is a family-owned restaurant that wishes to provide their guests with a unique dining experience with little history, a lot of art and above all, incredible food! Since 2011 we have been under new management and have a new management team as of late 2012. Since that time The Library has gone through a cosmetic overhaul with a fresh, unique interior as well as a menu change from a FABULOUS new chef. Since these changes, we have been ranked #38 out of the almost 2000 restaurants in Indianapolis which is a HUGE accomplishment for us since there are so many amazing restaurants in Indianapolis. What an honor! Please view the wonderful comments our guests leave on this review site as well as the others. Our legendary prime rib is aged in house and rubbed in a special blend of herbs. We then slow roast it overnight to ensure the utmost tenderness. Last we serve it with our house ruby port au jus and creamy horseradish sauce. We also have many other popular dishes such as our stuffed salmon and fall-off-the-bone braised barbeque ribs. The Library has a beautiful full service bar where you will find many of our regulars enjoying their favorite classic cocktails as well as our own concoctions. We also have 2 banquet rooms and 2 board rooms to accomodate any events or business needs. Audio visual equipment is available as well as complimentary wireless internet. It began as the dream of Lou Jenn to bring France to Indy. The streets were lined with limos on opening night. While the Mon Rve (French for My Dream) dripped with finery like the German crystal chandeliers you can still see today, it was ahead of its time. Soon the guests left and the rooms lie quiet. An entrepreneur named Al Wei got a call. A friend who owned a building, currently being used for offices and a small restaurant, wanted to meet. Mary, Als wife, guessed what was going on and left a very simple message on Als voicemai
