The Hop Stop

Great place to hang out, grab a bite to eat and a drink or two. Hop Stop is laid back, casual and just plain fun. The staff is incredibly nice and always smiling. The food is tasty, our favorites are the veggie pizza and tots but you really cant make a bad choice… Glad we stopped at the hop stop. Great beer. Try the Hop Stop IPA. The naked wings were cooked perfectly and the greens salad exceeded expectations. Another great spot in Poway. Kid friendly and plenty of social distancing to be had. We had a larger party for COVID times. Seating is first come first serve. The tables were spaced pretty far apart and the seating area is pretty wide. I highly suggest grabbing seats and telling someone to order for the table if you go while the farmers market takes place… Poway has been in desperate need for a place like this and the whole community is grateful that the owners invested so much time, money and energy into making it happen. The food is good if not great, but the atmosphere and beer menu make up for it. What a special little place to go hang out with family and friends. The selection of beers is great and the food, so delicious! My family and I went over the Christmas holidays and everyone of us said we would definitely go again soon…
