Select with a category below to start your online order. John Walters and Dorothy Walters in May 1945 opened The Elmton; as a bar, they gradually added food. The first item offered was a 16 pizza. The recipe for the pizza was experimental and it is made the same way today. The pizza boxes read Real Pizza, which was coined by a customer, and has become our trademark. There are now 12 and 8 pizzas, as well as broasted chicken, which was added to the menu in 1965. The chicken is prepared, with less fat, carbohydrates, and calories. The Elmtons menu now features full dinners, sandwiches, and appetizers. In 1969, Johns son Jack and his wife, Marianne joined the business, which is now operated by Marianne and son Jack Jr. The Elmton seats 145 people and features a full bar, making it the perfect stop before or after the high school football game, other sporting events, or anytime.
