The Ellington

Loving this 10pm Happy Hour!!! Perfect Friday night outing – music is loud enough that I dont have to shout but provides an atmosphere… The lamb burger is phenomenal, but the Marylan Mule is delish!! Food was great!!! Ive been wanting to try this place out fora few weeks and finally did. Its the perfect brunch spot and their prices are fair. I live close to The Ellington and this restaurant is a staple on my Upper Upper West Side list. If you have a date – go here; if you need brunch – go here; in the summer if you want to sit outside – go here… Stumbled upon this place just a few days ago, totally by accident, and ended up really enjoying it. Couldnt really pinpoint the cuisine or culture, but its literal open doors drew a motley crowd of both computer/coffee sippers and beer drinking lunch go-ers… …The service was GREAT! We never had to wait for anything & people were actually polite – which can be a stretch for some New Yorkers. Id recommend the warm goat cheese & prosciutto salad…
