The Dhaba

The Dhaba is a multi-award winning, casual-elegant restaurant, a subsidiary of India Plaza (Arizonas largest South Asian Shopping center since 2003). The Dhaba prides itself in supporting local farmers, recruits locally and uses the best meats. All spices are blended in house. The Dhaba is the annual recipient of many Peoples Choice and Critic awards, with much praise focused on the complex flavors and authenticity of the cuisine. Conceived initially as an academic project, The Dhaba has evolved into into a highly coveted destination for real Punjabi food along the light rail route. The shopping center houses a specialty market, gift center, cafe, boutique and a full service salon. India Plaza is an active community partner and a member of several trade and business organizations such as the Tempe Chamber of Commerce, Local First Arizona, Better Business Bureau, Arizona Restaurant Association, Arizona Small Business Association, and more. The Dhaba offers vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free and Halal choices.
