Im Phil McGovern, owner of The Daily Pint. If youve watched the video, you probably figured Im not from the US, Im from London. A born and bred cockney well versed in rhyming slang. Happily married to my trouble and strife (wife) and I have three wonderful daughters. I never thought Id be a hairdresser let alone owning a salon in Beverly Hills. At the time I owned the salon, I used to live near 23rd and Pico and would walk across to a bar and have a few beers. One day while I was at the bar the geeezer behind the bar told me he was going to sellhe ended up selling it to me! I suddenly has this thought, Ive just bought a pub and, Ive still got my other business! I was running ragged for a while back then but thats what you did when you worked for yourself, you do all the things you need to do to make things happen. That was part of my dream about coming to America, and trying to get ahead. Here I am 25 years later, we just celebrated our 25th anniversary earlier this year. Its all about having a cow and calf and relaxing. We cater to everyone with our huge selection of beers and the best selection of single malts in the western US and just about every other kind of spirit you can think of.
