The Curious Pig is owned and operated by Chef Scott Smith. Chef Scott grew up in Peachtree City and after culinary school, he laid his roots down in Gwinnett County. After running several successful restaurants in Gwinnett, he felt the need to bring something amazing back to his hometown . The name behind The Curious Pig comes from a blend of Chef Scotts favorite things. Curious comes from one of Scotts favorite breweries, Creature Comforts. Their motto, Crave Curiosity helped inspire the name of his own restaurant. There are two things that inspired Pig. Chef Scotts favorite restaurant, The Ravenous Pig is located in Orlando. When coming up with the name for his own restaurant, he thought about where he has had the best dining experience. For 15 years, Scott shared a bond with his dog, Pig. She was his best friend and had a huge impact on his life. Pig is remembered as the sweetest and most loving dog.
