Louises Italian Fine Dining and Bar proudly continues as the namesake restaurant of Louise Ambrosini, the original founder of Louises Restaurant which opened in June, 1939 at its original location on S. 3rd Street in Terre Haute, IN. From its humble beginnings, Louises quickly became renowned as a place to celebrate special occasions and create memories with family and friends while dining on many of Terre Hautes favorite Italian recipes.which have continued still today from their original roots in Vecenta, Italy! Following in the footsteps of the Louises history built over decades by the Ambrosini and Gottardi families and their loyal support from generations of dedicated Louises employees, Rick Lundstrom sustained the Louises traditions from 2001 until his brother Rob Lundstrom carried forth the Louises Legacy in Ricks memory beginning December 17, 2008. Louises Café and Bar was born July 1, 2008, to usher in the next phase of breakfast and lunch diner operations at the Terre Haute International Airport – Hulman Field, where generations of visitors and residents have enjoyed watching Terre Haute enter the Aviation Age. Through distinct and separate dining atmospheres, Louises Italian Fine Dining and Bar offers a traditional Italian dining experience during dinner hours, while Louises Café and Bar offers a casual daily breakfast and lunch menu offerings every day until 2 pm. Louises Copper Catering is capable of handling all your catering needs ranging from formal to casual fun at your location, onsite at Louises, or downtown Terre Haute at Ricks Copper Bar. Our Gift Cards can be used interchangeably without expiration at Ricks Copper Bar, Louises Italian Fine Dining, Louises Café, and Sycamore Spirits for all your food and beverage needs.
