The Cats

The Cats is owned and operated by a private party. We purchased the building in 2008 expecting to open the restaurant in a few short months after the completion of the construction upgrades. Ideally this would have been our third year in business, but due to a multitude of challenges, the opening had to be delayed. This Historical building dates back to the 1800s and with that comes the engineering and architecture of that time. This presented a number of issues with passing inspections to become fully licensed and operational according to todays standards. In a normal situation, you might see the business owners pack their things and chalk this up as a defeat. This definitely was not the case with us. Weve invested heavily into the re-construction of the supporting structure of the building to withstand an immense amount of punishment. The HVAC systems are completely brand new, among other things. The interior finishes are of the finest quality and selected from specific areas to attain the exact appeal that we want to achieve.
