Established in 1929. The Barn Original has proudly been in business for over 90 years. Our burgers and ribs served in a speakeasy atmosphere with rustic décor have made us well known. Our casual family eatery is located in an old fruit barn. There is no sign out front, look for the lights wrapped around a tree opposite the Sicomac School. Well keep an eye out for ya! The founder of The Barn had a car dealership during The Great Depression in the early 1900s. It was put out of business soon after the bottom falling out of the economy. During this time, his crew starting hanging out in a barn and they made liquor to drink and pass time. It turned into a speakeasy that has grown and adapted to its patrons ever since.
