The restaurant sits on the corner of Broadway and Linden, where much history sits with the architecture dating back to the Great Depression With the sudden availability of an open space in the center of the Long Beach Arts District, partners Andre Angles and Ty Theara took a shot in the dark, opening their first restaurant and presenting to Southern California what they have to offer. Alongside the strong influences of a traditional Thai background, and the lavish structure of modern American cuisine, Thai District looks to present upscale authentic dishes to customers in the midst of a modern, romantic decor– placing one back into the nostalgic yet intimate atmosphere of Thailand.
