The Texas Lunchbox aims to facilitate healthier and more inclusive public school lunch programs through local fundraising and awareness building. The system that makes The Texas Lunch Box work so seamlessly is largely in part because of the wonderful professionalsin the school districts that we cover. We are in constant communication with the districts and keep a very close eye on the debt that is accumulated through unpaid lunches. Texas schools offer a range of 3-5 lunches to go unpaid before they are not allowed to offer any more, this is the point where we step in! We make a deal with the districts to help alleviate the debt so that these children can continue to eat a full lunch EVERY DAY. We take a very strong stance on the idea that no child should be hungry at school. No child should have to go without food because of their families economic standpoint. No Belly Left Behind.
