Teresita has been sharing her masterful hand at cooking homemade dishes for the public for over a decade when it was first called Puerto Nuevo Restaurant. In 1983 it began as a humble establishment with a seating capacity of 25 and a take-out counter completely runby Teresa and her family contributing in sharing various responsibilities to maintain the restaurant. Through Teresas flavorful dishes and the familys eleven-year dedication to the restaurant, they decided to expand and renovate its facilities to accommodate a growing clientele in order to provide a casual, welcoming and authentic Mexican dining experience. On March 28th, 1994 the restaurant was officially and appropriately renamed Teresitas Restaurant. Now the restaurant has its own staff, and eldest son Tony manages the day-to-day operations, while Teresitas husband maintains the facilities, and Teresita can still be found supervising the kitchen, preparing the daily menu, serving dishes and greeting the customers with a warm and welcoming smile.
