Gaku (Lawrence & Moorpark Ave) is now open 6 days, Monday through Saturday. Sumiya Bento in Milpitas is now open! Located in Milpitas Square (I-880 & 237), Sumiya Bento is now open to serve Sumiya signature Yakitori Bento to North San Jose & Milpitas communities. Please come visit us! www.sumiyabento.com Thu – Sun: 11:30 am – 2:00 pm, 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm Sumiya is open for takeout during socially distancing. This place is amazingly good and amazingly popular. So, what this means is that you dont have to try to get reservations on a Wednesday night at 9:00PM. Silver lining to the current situation we find ourselves I guess. Food was delicious and presentation, as you can see in the photos, was very fancy. Waitstaff was attentive, promptly refilling the tea and offering good recommendations and accurate opinions of menu items (Gobi Fries were indeed interesting lol). Good place for small groups (we… Very good food. The lunch menu is limited and you dont get to order off the more extensive yakitori menu but the offerings that were available were on point. Def a must try Delicious food, we ordered the Don yakitori and option #1, Don chicken katsu and potatoes with garlic butter. Skewers were amazing! Food is great. Its a very small restaurant, so yes come early, theres a line. Ample parking (for once in the Bay Area). Great place! Super friendly staff
