Street & Competition started on a Saturday morning in May of 1981 at Bryar Motorsports Park in Loudon, NH, now known as New Hampshire Motor Speedway. I was a first-year expert, riding a TZ250 in AAMRR club races. Like most racers, I was looking for a way to offsetracing expenses.
