To all my friends, supporters, patrons, musicians, Steamers Jazz Club has closed its doors for good, but we are leaving you in good hands. Mike Rapport from Evans Brewing Co. Inc. is going to carry on the tradition of Steamers by continuing a jazz policy at the newrenovated Evans Public House . Following is an announcement form Mr. Rapport and I will be assisting him when they reopen to keep the level of jazz at its highest! Thank you for 21 years of your blessings and support To the esteemed Steamers Jazz audience and bandmembers: Evans Brewing Company is proud to continue in the tradition of Steamers by offering Jazz and other genres of music nightly at our newly remodeled Evans Public House bar and restaurant. Our focus will be our award winning Evans beers with a new american cuisine in our restaurant. But by 9:30 pm, we change it up and will have live entertainment nightly. We are keenly aware that the music offerings in the downtown area are limited. We plan to offer a broader mix with Jazz as the main offering. Terence has given us your information and we will like to have you email recordings that we can review. We will be open in late November if all goes well.
