Owner, Mitchell Murphree, opened Steakhouse Five in Summer of 2019, tying his childhood to his profession. My grandparents raised livestock, my family ran a country ham business, and I was a member of the UT Knoxville meat judging team. You could say an appreciation for meat has been with me since I was born. The restaurant seats up to 100 guests inside, as well as 20 on the adjoining patio overlooking the main pocket park at Fountains at Gateway.
