State 48 Brewery

Each location has a brewhouse and brewpub onsite. State 48 Brewery in Surprise is the original location featuring a 10 barrel system. We brew our seasonal and specialty beers at this location. We have a full kitchen as well as a wood fired pizza oven featuring neopolitan style pizza. We have a huge, dog friendly patio with games such as cornhole and giant Jenga and Connect 4. State 48 Funk House has a 20 barrel system, which will eventually brew our sours and other mixed fermentation beers. This location has a full service menu as well as 12 lanes of bowling, 2 pool tables and a shuffle board table. We are conveniently located next to the Arizona Cardinals and Coyotes stadiums. State 48 DTPHX is in the heart of the arts and entertainment district in Downtown Phoenix. The brewery here features a 20 barrel brewing system with 40 barrel fermenters and brite tanks. This is where we brew our flagship, year round offerings such as the Sound of Freedom IPA, Javelina Hefeweizen, Lost Dutchman Golden Ale, Copper Star Kolsch and Vortex Amber. State 48 Lager House in Scottsdale is our biggest brewing system, with a 20 barrel brewing system and 11 40 barrel fermentors. We brew only our lagers here such as our Pilsner, Chingona Mexican Lager, Desert Vibes Light Mexican Lager, Dirty Dirndl Marzen, State 48 Black Lager and the South of Heaven Helles Lager. We also have a full service restaurant at this location as well as a second level mezzanine, a huge dining patio and a second level patio that overlooks the McDowell Mountains.
