Shizen

Established in 2015. Shizen is proud to be a fully vegan sushi bar and izakaya. We combine classic shojin and sushi techniques with local, seasonal ingredients to create healthy and flavorful dishes with a light footprint. Some of our most notable dishes include our nigiri, our specialty rolls, our ramen, and our robata items. We use mountain yam, konjac, soybean curd, and other vegan ingredients to replace conventional proteins throughout our menu. Shizen was opened in January 2015 by the partnership behind Tataki Sushi Bar in an effort to promote vegan options and high-quality vegan cuisine within the sushi industry.
