Shiso is a type of Japanese mint that was brought over to the Americas by Japanese immigrants in the early 1800s. It offers a clean, refreshing and aromatic quality to its diverse applications in food. Like the Shiso leaf, our goal is to express ourselves with clean, healthy, creative, and unique dishes in a positive atmosphere. We strive to be socially responsible stewards to our customers, our community and our environment. We proudly support local farmers and culinary artisans; as such we are committed to using only chemical free produce, meat, fish and dairy. The Japanese have set extremely good examples of being environmentally conscious and taking pride in what they do. We like to think we can do the same. Please keep in mind each dish is made to order.
