We are a place where down-home, scratch-made food and great conversation come together to provide a place to relax, kick your feet up (well maybe not literally) and start your day. Our passion is to begin your day with the most important meal via locally sourced and scratch-made products. With that in mind, Scratch was formed in 2016 in the historic Grandin Village of Roanoke, VA among a vibrant community of food options. We offer an array of biscuits – some your standard breakfast fair and some with a little southern flair. Our focus is on scratch made in-house food products – from the biscuits that are roughly the size of a softball, made in-house spreads and jams (including peanut butter & pimento cheese), cinnamon rolls and a multitude of side options. We also offer platters, breakfast tacos and rotating specials. Every great breakfast deserves a fresh-brewed cup of coffee. Fortunately, we have that covered with our roasted in-house exclusive brands. We have 4 different blends of coffee that we offer for sale. Daily we serve Grelen Gold, a medium roast coffee. Our coffee blends are available for sale both in the restaurant and online. In 2021, We evolved beyond our breakfast menu to offer a daily lunch and dinner menu consisting of PBs po boys. Keeping consistent with our brand the poboys are made with fresh baked bread from a local bakery and we source fresh products for our sandwiches. We currently offer 8 different po boy sandwiches and one rotating cajun inspired dish every month on top of the robust breakfast menu. We offer the biscuit menu daily until 2pm and from 11am – 9pm we offer PBs po boy sandwiches. Come visit and see the beauty of Virginia.
