Ruth's Heart

Steve and Mary Ann spent 15 years in Israel serving the Jewish people in a variety of ways. This unique experience equips them to address many of the issues which concern the People and the Land of Israel. They have committed their lives to blessing Israel, and to helping others understand the importance of doing the same. Their work includes: Partnering with other organizations, locally, nationally and globally, to promote friendship with Israel through Education, Prayer, and Advocacy The Heart of Ruth was first conceived in us when our eyes were opened to understand the scriptures from a Hebraic perspective. We came to the realization that the very foundation of our faith is set within the context of Gods covenant relationship with Israel. We saw that somehow during the last two thousand years, we Christians had lost touch with our roots. In our desire to become reconnected we began a deeper study of the scriptures, taking into account the language, culture, and history of the Jewish people. As we grew in our understanding of Gods love for Israel we began to love her too. Ruths Heart was birthed in us, and we were compelled to say along with Ruth, Your people shall be my people, your God my God. (Ruth 1:16) Hidden within the heart of the Ruths Heart Logo you will find the embrace of Ruth and Naomi. It is a symbol of Ruths commitment to love and honor Naomi and the God of her people.Read more
