where locally sourced ingredients, seasonal dishes and warm ambiance reign supreme. Named to reflect the merging of two cultures; American and Sicilian. The three partners, Nino Cusimano, Marco Provino and Mario Liga, all grew up in a small town in Sicily before moving to San Diego where they all started working with Vincenzo Lo Verso who inspired them to come up with their own concept and open a restaurant as a team. Rusticucina invites neighborhood dwellers and visitors to experience a farm-to-neighborhood restaurant unlike any other.
