Rozz-tox

Rozz-Tox n. a listening bar, cafe, brasserie, zakka, performance venue, gallery, culture cell, guesthouse, library, cinema, club; a virus whose ultimate goal is to constantly mutate to avoid becoming part of mainstream culture. in memory of our mother, co-founder,and backbone. we were granted use of the name ROZZ-TOX by its creator, Gary Panter , who wrote the Rozz-Tox Manifesto in 1980. 2007-2017: follow the graffiti down jiangnan dong road, when you come to that last building before the road curves go inside the red-gated door and up to the forth floor and you will find LOFT345 (formerly PARK19), our first space in guangzhou, china. 2011: we come back to our hometown in the quad cities to open ROZZ-TOX, a space modeled after LOFT345. this is the first ROZZ-TOX space and the US nerve centre. 2017: our first space with the namesake ROZZ-TOX opens in guangzhou, LOFT345 reincarnated. 2019: our china fam partners up with some friends to open BAD HABIT by ROZZ-TOX. this space is unique in that it is the result of our years of experience running these types of spaces. however, due to location and rent cost this space closed in october 2020, only to give birth to ROZZ-TOX 289 (below). 2020: for further expansion, we have established a long term partnership with 289 art space and moved BAD HABIT into the first floor, renaming it ROZZ-TOX 289. with this new space launched, we continue to expand our team and bring new energy to the culture that defines ROZZ-TOX.
