Rok Bistro

Rok offers pleasant indoor dining. Rok has a full service bar. The Rok presents Sunnyvale Landscape Photographer, John Harrison, our resident artist. John is an avid photographer and Silicon Valley marketing professional living in Sunnyvale. John was inspired to create two new series for the Rok Bistro capturing the natural beauty of rock and Rockscapes with their unique textures and colors in dramatic lighting and in some of the most beautiful locations. These two new collections are titled Rock Textures in Point Lobos and Rockscapes in the Valley of Fire. John included additional pieces from Yosemite to complete the Rok Bistro display. All of the framed artwork here in the Rok Bistro is created by John. John takes many of his vibrant color and black and white Landscape photos within the San Francisco Bay Area, as well as Yosemite, and includes many places such as the San Mateo Coast, Point Lobos, Natural Bridges, Alcatraz, Napa Valley, Redwood National Park, Sausalito, Big Sur, Grand Tetons, Valley of Fire and Pajaro Dunes. Capturing the light and the feelings of being in those places is what John is trying to achieve – I want to be THERE on a Friday afternoon!
