Established in 2016. Whether youre passing through town, out for date night, or simply want to enjoy a family lunch, we cant wait to welcome you in for a relaxing, attentive experience. Using organic ingredients whenever possible, Portabellas diverse menu has something for everyone. Handmade pasta, traditional Italian dishes, Mediterranean treats, gluten-free options, vegetarian choices, and so much more — all are made fresh with care in-house. Channeling a deep passion for cooking and homemade Italian food, owner and chef Alex Elallam opened Portabellas in 2016 to bring unique and traditional flavors to his new home of Newport. The restaurant opened after Alex traveled all over the East Coast and finally decided to settle in Tennessee.
