PoBoys Kitchen serves southern style, homemade tastes made with love (Yep! sometimes love means butter!). We value hard work and our guests` happiness. We would like to create the best tastes and memories that you take with your delicious food order! It could not be a better time to start a new journey in the midst of a global pandemic in 2020! PoBoys Kitchen opens its doors to serve family-style oriented, nicely seasoned, spicy, crispy delicious food! At PoBoys Kitchen, we are hoping to be part of Potrero Hill to evolve, learn, teach, change, and improve altogether. With the exception of touching each others fries, touching each others lives, souls, while sharing a joyful moment. Metin Yalcin has been part of Potrero Hill since 2009. He first started working at Pera, one of the former iconic family-owned restaurants on The Hill. After happily being part of this beautiful community, cooking and serving food for 11 years here, Pera served its last plate in mid 2020. Metin decided to launch his long term dream of operating & cooking in a small, southern-inspired kitchen and that is how Po`Boys Kitchen came to life! Metin says `Everybody should cook what they also love to eat.
