Plantation Buffet is a family style restaurant located in Athens, GA. Plantation Buffet began in the 70s as Hadleys Restaurant, started by Henry Hadley. Around 1981 Mr Hadley sold the restaurant to Jerry Brown who ran it for a year. Ed DeAngelo then took over therestaurant, changing the name to Plantation Buffet and ran it from 1982 to 98. Keith Gray began ownership on July 1, 1998 and continues to run it today. The restaurant has always been a buffet, featuring Southern Comfort food.
