Pizza Pete's

Storheims was originally founded in Green Bay, Wisconsin by a man named Ray Kern. I was able to get to know him over the years for the many times that I stopped in to have his Flavor of the Day. Anytime I was in Green Bay, I would make a point to stop in before I headed home. As time went on and our friendship grew, I had proposed the idea of establishing a Storheims location in Iron Mountain. One thing led to another, and in June of 1996 we hit the ground running with our own store. After 15 years of service, we have drastically changed the face of what we first were. What started as mostly burgers and custard has become a very distinguished menu. Over the years we have continued to expand our menu to offer the variety that appeal to each and every one. In 2005 we added pizza to our menu, Pizza Pete. This was my own personal pizza recipe, which took me nearly five years to perfect. The crust and sausage are homemade, the ingredients are fresh, and the pizza is cooked on oven stones to give you the best possible taste. Our next addition was our breakfast menu, which we call Taste of Sweden. It features many of my mothers Swedish recipes that we enjoyed as children growing up. A selection of Swedish pancakes, fresh cinnamon rolls, my special French toast batter, homemade breads, and cake donuts made daily will not leave you disappointed. My sister and I have operated this location since it has opened with the help of many family members. Ray made it a priority to use the best products he could find, and we have continued that practice. You might find a cheaper meal, but we think you will struggle to find a better one.
