Our family has been in the restaurant business for many years (since 2002). PG BBQ #1 is the only BBQ restaurant in the area, very popular in this small-town at the state of Virginia. We now serve hungry customers all over the town, becoming the best choice to enjoy with family and friends. Every year we come through Richmond, this is our stop on the way to the beach. Cute little place, sort of off the beaten path hole in the wall, but the BEST BBQ!! The minced bbq sandwich and sides are yummy and plentiful. We love it for its Elvis decor and friendly service. Great prices too! The place is adorable! And the food is great! The ribs make my Top 10 and the Hush Puppies were the best ever (this paleo girl ate two) and thats saying something. Everything is homemade. The servers are really sweet and attentive. Love the fact that locals were coming in and out. And very clean, which is not usually synonymous with BBQ shacks.
