Owens Ordinary is a neighborhood tavern featuring a deep selection of regional craft beer and modern American cooking located at Pike & Rose in Northern Bethesda. The space is centered on a spacious bar that opens up to a festive outdoor beer garden – while the dining room within is airy and light and finished with whimsical touches of industrial steampunk. The beer program, curated by Greg Engert, is composed of a deeply diverse draft and bottle list, with 50 rotating drafts and over 200 bottles on the menu including upwards of 75 Maryland beers, many of which have never before been available at a restaurant or bar before. The food at Owens is deceptively simple, essentially a collection of classic American staples updated with artisanal ingredients from regional farmers and purveyors, and priced for the neighborhood to enjoy regularly.
