NEPArogi celebrated a grand opening during the Easter Season 2021. Thanks to such a supportive community response, we have decided to open a permanent location in Summer 2021. #OnTheStacks episode 50 with Lauren Gorney, co-owner of NEPArogi. In this episode Laurenshares her experiences working in sales and marketing, explains how to sell through storytelling, and how the burnout of the 9-5 rat race gave her the opportunity to turn her passion for food, family, and culture into a new pierogi business NEPArogi. Lauren also talks about mental health and the importance of scheduling time for yourself. Co-Owner Lauren and Kitchen Manager Deneen got to serve up fresh pierogi with Chris Bohinski and Haley Bianco on WBREs PA LIVE! in the Weis Market Kitchen. We walk a fine line between mass production and labor-intensive love, Gorney said. As long as we can, we are going to pinch these little babies on our own.
