In 2004, co-founders Chris Lester and Kayne Fisher opened Natty Greenes Brewing Co. in downtown Greensboro, with the idea to push the limits with ales and sours. Named for Greensboros namesake Nathanael Greene, it quickly became Greensboros brewery. 2007 saw expansion to a production brewery to begin distribution throughout North Carolina. By 2014, Natty Greenes brews could be found from Virginia to South Carolina. Last year, Natty Greenes opened a second restaurant, The Kitchen + Market, at Revolution Mill. Their brewery and tasting room will also move to Revolution Mill later this year.
