A long Time Ago in a Galaxy Far, Far Away Okay it wasnt that long ago and not that far away. It was a period of unrest as there was a need for some spectacular BBQ in Lansing. Pitmaster Sean Johnson liked to make delicious barbeque on the weekends for his family and friends and decided he needed to share his marvelous eats with the good people of Lansing. He started with a 30 seat restaurant and added a bar the next year. Tate Skiba was one of the first employees that joined the team and he shares Seans passion for eclectic eats and barbeque meats. And lets face it, every Han needs a Chewbacca. Meat BBQ has grown since then but you will always find a laid-back atmosphere, friendly and knowledgeable staff, and freshly made from scratch food and drinks. Our army of cooks are cooking every day, from scratch. Our cocktails and drinks are handmade with fresh juices. We serve until we run out, so make sure to come early.
