The owner and chef of Mazadar originated from Afghanistan and came to the United States when he was only 18 years old. In Afghanistan his family had cooked and held grand parties for their King, Amanullah Khan. Here, he spent his time in Afghan restaurants and has built experience from working and dining in them. His dream was to open his own restaurant, using his families precious recipes, but incorporating a modern Mediterranean touch. Knowing that Afghan cuisine and Mediterranean cuisine use similar spices, he knew this would be the perfect marriage. Using his family recipes, Mazadar cuisine has the authentic taste you will not find anywhere else. All of our meats are 100% Certified Halal.
