It was super busy, but quick to get the food. Food was hot and tasty. Local dive worth the visit! Slap-yo-mama good food. Corn bread to die for and no Im not being paid or received a free lunch, just the best! Not knowing what to expect, we were delighted with our visit! The staff is *super* friendly. I heard just about every guest called Honey or Baby or Miss Lady or Sugarboo. Everyone who walks inside this restaurant is family, and family gets treated and fed like family. Love this place!!!! Nothing fancy in the decor but the staff is down home and friendly. The food…well lets just say it is great! Authentic southern biscuits that are hand made and fresh out of the oven. The country ham is greeeeeeat! The real deal. Came home from Arizona and was craving a steak biscuit and sweet tea. It was so yummy! Always have loved Mamies Kitchen and love that they arent a chain restaurant. Downright good country breakfast, and probably in my top five favorite breakfast places of all time in the metro area.
