Over 35 years ago, founder and CEO Jim Duffy envisioned a magazine that would become a resource to help LBM vendors connect with contractors. Remodeling News™ regularly produced a magazine containing helpful articles devoted to the lumber and building materials industry. This gave LBM retailers a new way to communicate with builders and remodelers in their local area. Later, with the internet growing in usage and magazine readership waning, the team at Remodeling News™ saw an opportunity to pivot from print to digital products. The eShowroom digital platform was launched, and for the first time, local, independent dealers could provide their customers with online information about their product offerings. The eShowroom platform has grown and now dealers have access to the industrys most complete and up-to-date system for showcasing their in-store products. As internet capabilities grew and became part of the dealers daily operations, it led to the expansion of our offerings to include state-of-the-art websites and other web-based products to help retailers provide necessary information online to their professional and DIY customers. More recently, Remodeling News has been rebranded to My eShowroom-LBM Digital Platforms, still under the leadership of Jim Duffy. With a combined total of over a 100 years of industry experience, the team at My eShowroom-LBM Digital Platforms is excited to continue partnering with the next generation of lumber and building material retailers. Our mission continues to be helping LBM retailers to connect with their local customers and sell more products.
