Detailed Information

Revival Food Hall, operated by Chicago hospitality collective 16 On Center, is pleased to collaborate with Smoque BBQ owners Barry Sorkin, Mike McDermott and Al Sherman on the second location of the award-winning Old Irving Park barbecue joint. Since opening in 2006, Smoque BBQ has gained a loyal following for house-smoked meats combined with pitch-perfect, house-made rubs and sauces. The restaurant has received multiple Bib Gourmand awards and has been featured in a wide range of media outlets, from the New York Times to the Food Networks Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives. The new Revival location brings Smoques signature barbecue downtown, where theyll be smoking meats on-site and serving an abbreviated menu of the restaurants favorites, ideal for dining in, taking back to the office for lunch, or stopping by on the way home to grab a pound of fresh-cut meat and a few sides for dinner. We get people in the restaurant who drive from downtown to 3800 Pulaski for lunch, Sorkin says. But we know you cant do that on a daily basis. This opens us up to an audience that is familiar with us, but who will now be able to experience what we offer more frequently.
