Love's Fish Box

We are proud and excited to share our history with you. Like today, orders were taken at the counter back in 1968. Thats when Loves Fish Box first opened this quaint building that housed the most popular spot to order food from in Kings Mountain. News spread quickly about the quality seafood which brought more and more customers from far distances. In order to keep up with the demand, it was clear there needed to be a larger building. This building was purchased just a few hundred feet away, in 1985. The 1985 new and improved Loves Fish Box, remodeled and open for business! In 2002, a large dining room that seats 185 people was added. Our prices may have changed over the years but our quality and service have remained as great as day one. Loves Fish Box is 5 Generations strong and counting. Brothers, Danny and Darriel Love are the current owners. We invite you to give us a try. Whether you dine in or carry out, we are certain that you will be satisfied. People tell us all the time that we should bottle and sell our homemade sauces. We wont because we enjoy seeing our customers in person. One of my favorites. Ill drive to KM just to enjoy the top notch food and superior service. It is great to have a good fish restaurant in town. The atmosphere is nice too, and lots of locals pack the place at lunch every day. Food is always tasty. I always enjoy eating here. I have been eating fish there since my childhood when it was just a little brick building, take out joint. Keep up the good work guys! Great seafood! You can make 2 meals out their fish platter. Great price for the amount of food. Best seafood Ive eaten anywhere. ve lived in Shelby for over 30 yrs. and today is the first time to eat here!!! I had the Shrimp Po Boy and it was the best Ive ever had!! I We got here at 12 noon and even though the place was packed our food came out quick and the staff was so wonderful!! I will be eating here more often!!
