Ashevilles original #speakeasy is being described as one of the most romantic restaurants in Western North Carolina ( #WNC ). Originally known as Old Boston Saloon and Eureka Saloon famous speakeasys and haunts of #ThomasWolfe and OHenry – Lex 18 still serves #moonshine #cocktails #finewines and #localbeer. Our kitchen is led by Executive Chef Edwin Bloodworth Jr. ( @edblood ) a native Western North Carolinian and formerly Chef at Four Diamond The Game Keeper in Boone, NC. Live #Jazz is performed every night of the week and two shows on the Friday and Saturday night. Recently #Lex18AVL was featured by the Asheville Citizen-Times as one of the top jazz #hotspots of #Asheville. Inspired by #Appalachia #Cuisine, Chef Bloodworths plates are seasonal, organic and local the Appalachian range. Surprisingly Lex 18 is reasonably priced with ala carte, three or six course meals.
