La'wan's

Came to Lawans because I seen people raving about the quality of the food on Facebook. We enjoyed our experience from the start. Our waitress was super nice and helpful. We all cant wait to go back. This was our soul food dining experience. We surely didnt think wecould find grandmas cooking at a restaurant. Grilled Porkchops , Collard Greens, Mac & Cheese, Beef Tips w/ Gravy Alllllll BANG The pork chops bless me! Such great food I tried LaWans last evening and everything, e-v-e-r-y-t-h-I-n-g was incredibly good! The atmosphere is very casual but the food and service are over-the-top great. Go here! Do not wait for a Panthers game! very nice staff,and the food was very good.I will be going back. The food was great! I had the fried chicken with mac and cheese and potato salad. Everything was delicious. The Potato salad was A1! You have to yet the sweet tea… it will definitely keep you on your toes!!! The staff was very friendly as well. I would recommend trying them out if youre in the Charlotte area very friendly staff! The black music bingo was a great addition! I will be back! Great food and superb customer service!!! Really, really good crispy fried Chicken, well seasoned. The corn bread , potato salad , pinto beans was good too. I didnt enjoy the mac and cheese or collards much. The collards were sweet , if you like that sort of thing … the Mac and cheese had no flavor or depth. I give this place a 4 out of 5 just for the chicken. The customer service was great!
