Theres the building itself – built in 1885, it is the oldest commercial structure in town. But above all, theres the propertys tradition as a cornerstone of the community – from its origins as Otto Funkes Saloon, through over 50 years as the venerable Cypress Inn, the place at 1352 Shermer has always been the spot to meet, mingle and make yourself at home in Northbrook.
