Established in 1946. Continuing the tradition of over 70 years in business. Kropps Supper Club is a small, family-run restaurant that specializes in two important aspects of life: food and family. We believe that food isnt just something you eat–its something you experience. Whether you want a classic fish fry, a juicy steak, or homemade comfort food, we welcome you to join our family in celebrating the three things we do best: food, family, and tradition. Founded in 1946 by Isabelle and Clarence Kropp, Kropps Supper Club is located within Mills Center, which–like the name suggests–was once known for its lumber mills. The restaurant is housed within a historic red-brick building that was built in 1904, when it was the Lawler House, a boarding house and pub run by Edward Lawler, where weary travelers could rest and refresh. Since opening Kropps armed with a secret recipe from their adventures in the South, Isabelle and Clarence created the foundation for what would quickly become a hometown staple in Green Bay. The restaurant was taken over by Isabelles and Clarences son, Merlin, and his wife, Marge, who worked tirelessly for many decades to create a dining experience for family, friends, and strangers alike. It is now run by Merlins and Marges daughter, Sandy. At any given time, you will find three generations working in the kitchen. If you dont believe us, just ask!
